RS PRO Pressure Pad, Surface Mounting
Monitor the presence of people in your workspace with this pressure pad from RS PRO. It contains an actuator that will close a circuit when a load of more than 25 kg is applied over a 50 mm² area. This means you can easily detect the pressure of a person walking on it. It's a circular, flat pad, so it's guaranteed to be unobtrusive on a floor or other surface.
The pressure pad is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), making it lightweight for easy storage and transportation. This also gives it a good level of durability and resistance to repeated use, so you can count on it to last. An operating temperature range of -10°C to +70°C means you can use this product in a variety of settings. Use it for security at the entrance to a room or as part of an interactive multimedia installation.
