Max Switching Voltage 690V (Rated Voltage) AC3
Coil Nominal AC Power 8 to 16 VA (Hold in); 70 to 200VA (Inrush)
Electrical Life: 1.3 Million Operations (400V)
3 pole, 1 NO auxiliary contact on sizes 4 to 11kW
Coil Nominal AC Power 8 to 16 VA (Hold in); 70 to 200VA (Inrush)
Electrical Life: 1.3 Million Operations (400V)
3 pole, 1 NO auxiliary contact on sizes 4 to 11kW
100-C series contactors have reversible coil terminals, offer front and side mounting of auxiliary contacts, and can be attached to a 35mm DIN Rail mount or panel mounted. Breadth of line is 9...97 A. These contactors provide IP2X finger protection to prevent risk of injury to operators and risk of damage to the device. They are compatible with electronic overload relays and bimetallic relays. This series also conveniently offers common accessories for all contactor sizes to give you a perfectly integrated system.

The 100-C23KF10 IEC contactor by Allen Bradley is a 3-pole contactor with a contact current rating of 23A, and a coil voltage of 230V ac. It has a power rating of 11kW and contact voltage rating of 690V ac. It has 1 NO (Normally Open) Auxiliary Contact and screw terminals. Coil termination is line side.
What is a contactor?
Much like relays, a contactor is an electromagnetic device which is designed to switch electrical current through its contacts. It can switch a larger amount of electrical power than normal relays and can therefore be used for more heavy-duty, larger-scale applications, such as switching several different circuits simultaneously. It can also be controlled remotely and can be used for logic controlling to serve different functions, such as turning on some things at the same time as turning off others. Contactors feature high coil voltages and are able to switch more than 15 amperes, and they also have more input and output options than relays. They are frequently used to control electric motors and lighting systems. They contain a coil or electromagnet which opens or closes the contacts when the electrical current passes through the contactor.
Allen Bradley offer a variety of motor control products including IEC and NEMA contactors, as well as many compatible accessories, to suit your requirements and deliver maximum performance.
Allen Bradley MCS (Modular Control System) Contactors
A modular motor control system allowing users flexibility to design and construct an adaptable system. It has been designed to take in to account the demands and requirements of modern motors and their users; satisfying requirements up to 85AC3. A wide range of accessories are also available to cater for many diverse needs. The ease of assembly, installation and modification can bring many benefits not only those related to cost, but can reduce the number of parts which need to be held. The compact size of the component parts, bring other benefits including reduction in enclosure volume required, modern design and weight savings are also gained. By applying a modular design concept and an easy to fit 'clip-in' method, all add to the class leading features and benefits of the MCS system.
