Harting Han E Series Heavy Duty Power Connector, Housing Included, Insert Included - 09330162701+19300161231

This heavy-duty power connector provides a robust Interface for carrying power in industrial control and machinery installations. Designed as a housing and insert kit, it supports secure screw‑term connections for multiple conductors and includes earthing provision to suit demanding electrical environments. The unit is intended for use where compact, high-current connections are required within automation and electrical systems.

Features & Benefits

• Rated for 16 A at 500V to support moderate-current circuits
• Screw termination with wire protection for secure conductor retention
• Conductor range 0.75 to 2.5 mm² to accommodate common cable sizes
• Silver‑plated copper contacts to reduce contact resistance
• Insulation resistance greater than 10^10 Ω for leakage control
• Temperature range -40 to +125 °C for wide operating climates

**Applications**

• Suitable for power distribution in automation panels
• Ideal for machinery supplying motors and drives
• Used with control cabinets in manufacturing plants
• Can be used for replacement parts in industrial connector assemblies

What conductor preparation is required before termination?

Conductors should be stripped to 7.5mm and secured under the screw terminals rated for M3 contact screws.

How many mating cycles can be expected from the insert?

The insert is specified for at least 500 mating cycles under normal conditions.

What torque settings should be applied to fixing hardware?

Contact screws and fixing screws are tightened to 0.5 Nm and the PE screw to 1.2 Nm as indicated for reliable connections.

Which materials are used for the insert and contacts?

The insert is MADE from polycarbonate with silver‑plated copper‑alloy contacts to balance insulation and conductivity.

Are there any notable electrical withstand values for impulse or safety testing?

The unit exhibits a rated impulse withstand of 6 kV and is specified for pollution degree 3 environments.

Note

Male and female inserts may be fitted to a hood or housing if the installation requires such a reverse configuration.
