3M Scotch-Brite Purple Sanding Hand Pad, Ultra-Thin, Non-Woven - CF-SR 07903
Use these ultra-thin Scotch-Brite sheets from 3M for tough cleaning jobs or to create smooth, finished surfaces. They're an ideal replacement for steel wool as they won't shred, rust or produce metal splinters. Use them to scuff new panels, sections of doors and under car bonnets. The tough pads are easy to shape, letting you reach into all those hard-to-reach areas. They're supplied on a 4m centre-pull roll of pre-cut sections that are easy to tear off. You'll find sheets are like these commonly used in automotive workshops as they're robust and don't contain contaminants.

What is meant by 'loading'?
This product is resistant to loading, a process that occurs when particles from the object being sanded build up on the abrasive and clog it so that it becomes ineffective.
Scotch-Brite™ Hand Pad Pre-Cut on a Roll CF-SR
The Scotch-Brite™ Pre-cut rolls are thin, tough and highly conformable making them ideal for difficult to reach areas. Supplied on a centre pull roll with easy to tear sections. MX-SR comes as a roll of over 4 metres of pre-cut sections.
Top Choice for Hand Surface Preparation
The sharp cutting non-woven rolls is super flexible and conformable for cleaning or fine finishing. The Scotch-Brite™ sheets are a great replacement for steel wool, whilst eliminating contaminants.
Most Aggressive
The most aggressive cutting grade is purple, still being highly conformable this abrasive is great for sanding in paint preparations on wood, metal and plastics. It works great at scuffing new panels, door jambs and under bonnet areas. The abrasive roll is ideal for sanding prior to priming and painting for successful mechanical adhesion.
Less Aggressive
The Grey Scotch-Brite™ sheets are great for preparing colour coats and simple blending. This abrasive roll is used for light scuffing and sanding for primer and paint applications.
