The ISL8541xDEMO1Z Demonstration Boards are based on the ISL8541x, a wide input voltage, low quiescent current, high efficiency synchronous step down regulators. The continuous output current is up to 1 A (ISL85410), 800 mA (ISL85418), 500 mA (ISL85415), 300 mA (ISL85413), and 150 mA (ISL85412). They are intended for point-of-load applications.

Wide input voltage from 3 V to 40 V (ISL85410, ISL85412, ISL85413, ISL85418) and 3 V to 36 V (ISL85415)
Synchronous operation for high efficiency
No compensation required
Integrated high-side and low-side NMOS devices
Selectable PFM (Pulse Frequency Modulation) mode at light loads, or forced PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) mode
Internal fixed (500 kHz) or adjustable switching frequency 300 kHz to 2 MHz (ISL85410, ISL85415, ISL85418)
Internal switching frequency 700 kHz (ISL85412, ISL85413)
Internal or external soft-start (ISL85410, ISL85415, ISL85418)
Minimal external components required
