STEVAL-SPIN3201 Advanced BLDC Controller Evaluation Board

The STEVAL-SPIN3201 board is a three-phase Brushless DC motor (BLDC) driver board based on the STSPIN32F0 motor controller with embedded STM32F0 MCU. The board is designed for sensored or sensorless vector control, FOC algorithms with 3-shunt sensing.

STSPIN32F0 Features

• 48MHz STM32 Cortex-M0 core MCU with 32KB Flash memory, 4KB SRAM • 3 x High/Low-Side 600mA MOSFET gate drivers
• Gate drivers feature bootstrap diodes and cross-conduction prevention
• +3.3V DC-DC buck converter regulator
• +12V LDO linear regulator
• 4 x op amps for signal conditioning
• 3FG open-drain output provides decoded result of inputs from 3 Hall sensors
• Comparator for overcurrent protection with programmable threshold
• On-chip debug support via SWD

• 100kΩ potentiometer for manual speed control
• 2 x User pushbuttons with LEDs
• Reset pushbutton

• ST-LINK status LEDs
• USB mini-B connector for host PC connection
• Supports STM32 PMSM FOC Software Development Kit (STSW-STM32100)
• Screw connectors for motor windings
• Screw connectors for +8 to +45Vdc motor power supply
