CYUSB3KIT-003 EZ-USB FX3 SuperSpeed Explorer Kit, Cypress Semiconductor

The FX3 SuperSpeed Explorer Kit is enables developers to add USB 3.0 serial interface device functionality to a system. The kit is based on the CYUSB301x family of EZ-USB FX3 USB 3.0 peripheral controllers. A fully accessible ARM9 core with 512 KB of RAM. The FX3 is fully configurable, General Programmable Interface (GPIF II).
The FX3 SuperSpeed Explorer Kit includes an Integrated Debugger (CY USB-Serial Bridge Controller) which provides a JTAG/UART interface through a standard USB 2.0 port.

Cypress Semiconductor USB Development Kit

The Cypress Semiconductor USB development kit is a super speed USB 3.3 peripheral controller providing integrated and flexible features. It has a fully configurable, parallel, a general programmable interface called GPIF II, which can connect to any processor, ASIC or FPGA. It provides easy and glueless connectivity to popular interfaces such as asynchronous SRAM, asynchronous and synchronous address data multiplexed interfaces and parallels ATA. It has an integrated USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 physical layers (PHYs) along with a 32-bit ARM926EJ-S microprocessor for powerful data processing and for building custom applications. It implements an architecture that enables 375MBps data transfer from GPIF II to the USB interface.
