Vertical Float Switches
The RSF50 series of compact vertical float switches have a single switching point, mounting is either from the top or bottom of the tank therefore access to the inside of the tank is required. These float switches are ideal for vending machine, printing systems, and chemical dosing applications.
Features & Benefits
Manufactured in a variety of materials with a choice of gasket materials to suit most commonly used liquids
Mounting in top or bottom of tank
N/O versions can be configured as N/C by float inversion
All units WRAS approved for use in hot and cold water

Sensata Cynergy3 Vertical Float Switch, NO/NC, 600mA - RSF50 Series - RSF53V100MC
This compact Sensata Cynergy3 float switch allows for close monitoring of liquid levels in applications with limited space. It offers both NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) switch outputs for flexible use in liquid-level monitoring, high-alarm operations and overfill shutoffs. Thanks to its nylon construction, it's a durable choice that's resistant to corrosion and abrasion for use in harsh environments. The unit can be mounted vertically from the top or bottom of a tank's interior, so it's a good choice when you don't have access to the side of the tank. To ensure safe operation, keep the cable entry point dry by maintaining the mounting thread and cable entry above the liquid's highest level.
Features and Benefits
• Nitrile gasket material for a tight seal and resistance to corrosion
• Broad operating temperature range of -20°C to +75°C for use in challenging environments
• Cable length of 1m for flexible connections

How do you change the direction of the switch?
For flexible use, it's simple to reverse the switch's direction. All you need to do is remove the float from the tank and invert the switch. Re-fit it to the stem and re-install it in the tank.
