Evaluation Board for AD9516-x Clock Generator

The AD9516-x/PCBZ evaluation boards, from Analog Devices, are designed for evaluation of the AD9516-x devices. The AD9516-x are very low noise PLL clock synthesizers featuring an integrated VCO, clock dividers, and up to 14 outputs. AD9516-x devices feature automatic holdover and a flexible reference input circuit allowing for very smooth reference clock switching.
The AD9516-x/PCBZ is a compact evaluation board which allows the user to easily evaluate all of the features of the AD9516-x clock generator devices. The board has a simplistic power connection which uses a 6V wall adapter and on-board LDO voltage regulators. The LDO voltage regulators can be bypassed easily for power measurements. With a USB connection to a PC, the AD9516-x/PCBZ is used with a Microsoft Windows based evaluation software which has a simple graphical user interface (GUI).

Suitable applications for the AD9516-x/PCBZ evaluation boards include:
