RS PRO 470 μF Electrolytic Capacitor 63 V DC Through Hole
Looking for a capacitor with a compact size and great electric field strength? This RS PRO general-purpose aluminium electrolytic capacitor uses electrolytes to create electrostatic fields and store energy.
This unit is a radial type component, which means it has both terminals coming out of one side. It features a safety vent structure to prevent the capacitor from exploding when the voltage exceeds the permitted value. It's a through-hole component so you run its leads through holes to easily install it on your printed circuit boards (PCBs).
You can see aluminium electrolytic capacitors like this one used for decoupling electrical networks to suppress high-frequency noise in power supply signals. They also prevent voltage fluctuations in filtering devices and store power in flash lamps.
