Festo and RS Components extend their partnership through a new distribution agreement in selected markets of Asia Pacific

Festo, a leading world-wide supplier of automation technology and the performance leader in industrial training and education programs, strengthens its presence in selected markets of Asia Pacific with support from RS

Singapore, 11 May 2017:

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the global distributor for engineers, is expanding its APAC portfolio by adding thousands of products from the Festo range to its A&C (Automation & Control) line card throughout the region. Festo offers products, systems and services surrounding pneumatic and electric control and drive technology – whether in the factory or process automation sector. RS is playing an important role in the distribution strategy of Festo, within Asia Pacific and globally.

The Festo range available from RS includes pneumatic and electric drive technology as well as valves and manifolds. The Festo range can be applied in the production and assembly areas of various industrial segments whether it is the automotive or electronics industry, printing and packaging technology, the semiconductor or food and beverage industry.

All of the Festo products available from RS are top sellers. By adding these Festo items to its A&C line card, RS is taking yet another step in better serving the needs of its Asia Pacific customers when sourcing products for specific applications.

Festo strengthens its presence in Asia Pacific

This distribution agreement between Festo and RS comes at a time when Festo is strengthening its presence in Asia Pacific. The Festo range will become available for distribution in the following Asia Pacific regional selected markets: Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.

Extending their partnership to selected markets of Asia Pacific also reflects the two companies' successful alignment across Europe, where the Festo brand has been a very strong performer.
